Terror Suspect Gunned Down In Kisauni

A terror suspect has this afternoon been gunned down by police in Kisauni, Mombasa County.

The suspect, Khalid Ahmed was shot by police a few days after he arrived from Somalia where he has been hiding. An assortment of weapons including a pistol, grenade, 2 magazines and 68 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the suspect. According to police, the suspect had in the past been charged with being in possession of explosives. He however managed to go underground. The police say the suspect sneaked into the country three days ago and police had been trailing him. Ahmed was shot dead by the anti terror police in Mombasa. By Daniel Korir
